We’re stepping into 2026 with fresh music, renewed energy, and some exciting projects in the works. While our public performance calendar may look a little lighter at the moment, that’s because we’re spending time learning new repertoire, refining our sound, and collaborating on a few special initiatives we can’t fully reveal just yet.

One teaser we can share: this spring, Chromatix will be participating in a global celebration in song honoring the 100th birthday of someone very special that you’ve definitely heard of. It’s an inspiring project we’re thrilled to be part of. Stay tuned for more details!

First-Ever Madison Acappella Palooza Was a Success!

𝗪𝗢𝗪! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁! Last night we hosted our first-ever Acappellapalooza event, inviting Madison-area groups to join us for a night of music, connection, and community to sing for (and with!) each other just for the fun of it.

The energy, the harmonies, and the community spirit made it an 𝙪𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 evening.

A big shoutout to our fellow performers greenTONE Fundamentally Sound Ambulatones Tangled Up In Blue and Under A-Rest for sharing the stage and bringing so much talent and joy. Every set was incredible, and we’re so grateful to have shared the night with such amazing groups!!

We’re already dreaming about making this an annual tradition — here’s to the first of many acapellapaloozas!

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to support Chromatix at our 10-year anniversary concert in May and during Make Music Madison in June! It meant the world to sing for you and celebrate a decade of harmony, laughter, and community.

Chromatix Live at Make Music Madison – Two Shows, Double the Harmony!

We’re celebrating the longest day of the year the best way we know how: with sunshine, sweet harmonies, and two free performances as part of the citywide Make Music Madison festival on June 21, 2025!

Join us for a day of vocal fun at two awesome community spots. Whether you come for the music, the ice cream, or just the good vibes, we’d love to see you there!

Show #1 – Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Co. (Atwood)
Time: 2:00 PM
Location: Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Co., Atwood Ave
Details: Come chill with Chromatix and your favorite ice cream flavors! A perfect blend of sweet treats and sweet tunes for all ages.

Show #2 – Goodman Community Center
Time: 4:00 PM
Location: Goodman Community Center, Waubesa St
Details: Keep the music going at this family-friendly performance in one of Madison’s favorite gathering spots. More harmony, more fun!

Both events are free and open to the public, so bring your friends, your kids, your neighbors, your dogs, and anyone else who could use a little a cappella joy.

Join Chromatix for Our 10-Year Anniversary Celebration!

We’re turning 10! Join Chromatix A Cappella as we celebrate a decade of harmony, music, and community with a special anniversary concert on Friday, May 23, 2025, starting at 5:30 PM at Village on Park (2300 S Park St, Madison) in the community room. This free, family-friendly event will be a night to remember, filled with our favorite songs, new arrangements, and lots of fun.

Come early for light refreshments and time to catch up. The music starts at 6:00 PM and will last about an hour, leaving more time at the end for additional celebrating together before the venue closes at 8:00 PM.

Help us mark this incredible occasion! A $5 suggested donation will go toward covering venue costs and keeping our music alive.

Surprise your loved one with a unique and heartfelt gift — a live serenade delivered by our talented group. Each Singing Valentine includes a personalized song, a rose, a card, and chocolates, all for just $50.

Celebrate the holiday season with us

The holiday season is here, and Chromatix A Cappella is ready to spread the cheer with our festive caroling performances! We’ve been hard at work preparing holiday classics and unique arrangements to bring joy and warmth to our community.

Here’s where you can find us spreading holiday cheer this December:

🎄 Sunday, December 8:
Catch us at the Christkindli Market in New Glarus! We’ll perform at 3:45 PM, filling the market with the sounds of the season. Explore the festive stalls and enjoy some holiday music!

🎶 Tuesday, December 10:
Join us on State Street in downtown Madison! We’ll begin near the Capitol at 6:30 PM, bringing our carols to life as we stroll through the heart of the city. It’s the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit!

In addition to these public performances, we’re honored to bring holiday cheer to residents at various nursing homes through private performances. Sharing the joy of music is at the heart of what we do, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to brighten the season for everyone we meet.

We’d love to see you at the Christkindli Market or on State Street—sing along, say hello, and celebrate the magic of the season with us. Happy Holidays from all of us at Chromatix A Cappella!

In addition to having an incredible voice, Lindsey blew us all away with her unbelievably awesome vocal percussion skills.
