This year, we spread holiday cheer through Christmas caroling at the Catholic Multicultural Center soup kitchen with members of the Madison Area Ukulele Initiative (MAUI), left, and at the UW Children’s Hospital, right.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the High Noon Saloon last Tuesday, November 29, for the Make Music Madison showcase! We had a great time singing a few of our songs for you. You can see some pictures in our Photo Gallery or view a live video on our Facebook page!
For the rest of the year, we are focusing on spreading holiday cheer through Christmas caroling at retirement homes, soup kitchens and the children’s hospital.

Join us on Tuesday, November 29 at 6pm at the High Noon Saloon for the Make Music Madison showcase, featuring several local bands and performers. There is a $10 suggested donation. Chromatix performs at 8:45pm.
In the absence of a dedicated vocal percussionist, our group attended a virtual beatboxing workshop during last night’s rehearsal with the very talented Melinda Packer, who is a vocal percussionist, violinist and educator and does VP for the a cappella group S#arp Attitude, recently featured on Sing it on!

We are excited to announce that we are holding auditions on August 14, 1-5pm, at Bethany United Methodist Church (3910 Mineral Point Rd). We are looking for energetic and talented singers 21+ who can commit to rehearsing once a week and performing in at least four gigs each year. We are currently looking for a bass, vocal percussionist and alto to fill out our sound, but all parts are encouraged to audition. Learn more and fill out our audition request form here.
