Join us on Tuesday, November 29 at 6pm at the High Noon Saloon for the Make Music Madison showcase, featuring several local bands and performers. There is a $10 suggested donation. Chromatix performs at 8:45pm.
In the absence of a dedicated vocal percussionist, our group attended a virtual beatboxing workshop during last night’s rehearsal with the very talented Melinda Packer, who is a vocal percussionist, violinist and educator and does VP for the a cappella group S#arp Attitude, recently featured on Sing it on!

We are excited to announce that we are holding auditions on August 14, 1-5pm, at Bethany United Methodist Church (3910 Mineral Point Rd). We are looking for energetic and talented singers 21+ who can commit to rehearsing once a week and performing in at least four gigs each year. We are currently looking for a bass, vocal percussionist and alto to fill out our sound, but all parts are encouraged to audition. Learn more and fill out our audition request form here. We had a great time singing at Hilldale Shopping Center last night for Make Music Madison! Thank you to everyone who came out to see us. We hope you enjoyed it! A very special thank you to Laura K from greenTONE a cappella for filling in for our missing parts!
Make Music Madison is next week already! We are excited to be a part of this incredible citywide music festival. We’ll be performing at Hilldale Shopping Center, 726 N Midvale Blvd, this coming Tuesday, June 21, at 5:30pm. We hope you can stop by and hear us sing! We added two new songs to our set for this gig and are thrilled to share them with you. See you there!
On Saturday, May 14, we held our debut concert for a small group of close friends and family members. We had so much fun and were happy to have the opportunity to share what we have been working on with our loved ones. You can see us perform each of our songs on our videos page.
As we continue to learn and grow as a group, we are finding what sound works best for us. Some of the songs that we are currently singing include a fun medley arranged by Deke Sharon and Pentatonix’s Daft Punk arrangement. It’s exciting to be able to sing songs by some of the best a cappella arrangers in the business, and we look forward to showcasing some of our own arrangements in the future.

We are working really hard to get prepared for our upcoming spring concert in May (sorry, family only! small venue!) and our performance at Make Music Madison (everyone invited!) on Tuesday, June 21. More details to come.
