Celebrate the Holidays with Chromatix!

Posted on by admin

It might still feel early, but we get excited about this kind of thing. 🙂 The holiday season is almost here, and Chromatix is getting ready to spread some musical cheer! We’ll be bundling up and bringing our favorite holiday tunes to a few festive spots around the Madison area this December.

We have three public caroling appearances coming up, and we’d love for you to join us!

  • December 5, 3:00–4:00pm: Christkindl Market in New Glarus
  • December 8, 6:00–7:00pm: Caroling on State Street in Madison
  • December 12, 1:00–2:00pm: Christkindl Market in Verona

Whether you’re exploring a holiday market, shopping for gifts, or just enjoying the season, keep an ear out for Chromatix! Stop by, say hello, and enjoy some holiday harmonies with us.

And there’s one more way to hear us again this season! If you’re driving through the holiday light display at Olin Park in Madison, tune in to the event’s dedicated radio station. Two of our recorded holiday songs are part of the festive soundtrack! It’s a fun way to enjoy a little Chromatix from the warmth of your car.

We hope to see you out there!

national anthem appearances 2026

This summer, Chromatix got to take our music out of the rehearsal room and into two very different Madison-area sporting events.

In July, we had the chance to sing at a Madison Mallards game, performing on the field in front of a crowd of baseball fans. Then, in August, we headed to Forward Madison for a very different kind of game-day experience, where we had the honor of singing the National Anthem before the match.

Two venues, two very different atmospheres, and two really fun ways to share what we love doing with the community.

There’s something special about singing at a sporting event. You get one song, one moment, and a whole crowd listening—and then you get to step back and enjoy the energy of the game.

Thanks to the Madison Mallards and Forward Madison FC for having us this summer. We’re always happy to find an excuse to sing! 🎶

2026 Make Music Madison Schedule: Celebrate the Longest Day of the Year with Us!

Posted on by admin

2026 Make Music Madison schedule imageThe first day of summer deserves a soundtrack.

This Sunday, June 21, we’ll be spending the day doing one of our favorite things: filling Madison with harmony as part of Make Music Madison!

There’s something magical about a day when music seems to be everywhere: around street corners, in parks, on patios, in museums, and even in ice cream shops. It’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the simple joy of sharing music together.

We’ll be singing at two stops during the day:
🎤 2:00–3:00 PM, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, 227 State Street
🎤🍦 5:00–6:00 PM, Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream, 2322 Atwood Avenue

Come catch one show, or make a day of it and join us for both as you explore everything Make Music Madison has to offer.

Rain plan:

  • The 2:00 PM MMoCA performance will move indoors to the museum’s 3rd floor.
  • The 5:00 PM Chocolate Shoppe performance will be canceled if it rains.

Whether you’re following your favorite performers, discovering new ones, or simply wandering wherever the music takes you, we hope you’ll spend part of your summer solstice with us.

See you out there, Madison. ❤️🎶

Today is 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵’𝘀 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆, and we’re so excited to finally share the completed global video project we were honored to be part of!

Chromatix joined singers and vocal groups from around the world in this musical celebration of nature, humanity, and the incredible legacy of David Attenborough. Huge thanks to Pete Wyer for bringing together this beautiful international collaboration and making this project possible.

It’s been incredibly meaningful to lend our voices to something that celebrates nature, connection, and the power of collective art across borders.

Chromatix Joins Global Choir Honoring David Attenborough’s 100th Birthday

Chromatix is proud to be part of a worldwide musical collaboration celebrating the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough. As part of this special project, we recorded a portion of the song “Natural World,” which will be combined with performances from singers across the globe into one unified piece.

This project brings together voices from many communities to honor Attenborough’s legacy of inspiring generations to appreciate and protect our planet. We are truly honored to contribute to something so meaningful—and it was an incredibly fun experience for our group as well.

Our participation was recently highlighted in a UK-based article, which you can read here.

We’re excited to hear the final performance when it’s released and to share it with our community. Stay tuned for more updates!

Happy New Year!

We’re stepping into 2026 with fresh music, renewed energy, and some exciting projects in the works. While our public performance calendar may look a little lighter at the moment, that’s because we’re spending time learning new repertoire, refining our sound, and collaborating on a few special initiatives we can’t fully reveal just yet.

One teaser we can share: this spring, Chromatix will be participating in a global celebration in song honoring the 100th birthday of someone very special that you’ve definitely heard of. It’s an inspiring project we’re thrilled to be part of. Stay tuned for more details!

More information about upcoming performances and projects will be announced soon. If you’re interested in having Chromatix sing at your event, we’d love to hear from you! Reach out via email to start a conversation. You can also follow us on social media for behind-the-scenes updates, announcements, and the latest from the group as the year unfolds.

𝗪𝗢𝗪! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁! Last night we hosted our first-ever Acappellapalooza event, inviting Madison-area groups to join us for a night of music, connection, and community to sing for (and with!) each other just for the fun of it.

A Cappella Palooza Collage

The energy, the harmonies, and the community spirit made it an 𝙪𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 evening.

A big shoutout to our fellow performers greenTONE Fundamentally Sound Ambulatones Tangled Up In Blue and Under A-Rest for sharing the stage and bringing so much talent and joy. Every set was incredible, and we’re so grateful to have shared the night with such amazing groups!!

We’re already dreaming about making this an annual tradition — here’s to the first of many acapellapaloozas!
